USA 2011 Chapter 3 – On the road: Austin to New Orleans
As originally posted on my Tumblr site while travelling around the USA in 2011…
So, it was time to bid farewell to Austin and head off on my first road trip. Picked up the motor at the airport and had decided to go for a convertible, definitely a good choice (you can see the car in question below). The plan for the first day was to head to Galveston, about a 4 hour drive. I set off with “Born To Run” cranked up as the first tune on the iPod, with the power of the Genius kicking in afterwards. I know I’ve extolled the virtues of this function before many times but I am now beginning to worry that Apple are able to directly read my mind, such was the appropriateness of this auto-generated playlist.
