Starting with a friends challenge in early April to produce a Spotify playlist of my top 50 songs (with just one track per artist), I initially came up with a longlist of 379 tunes, all of which were then compiled into various Spotify playlists – so this page pulls all these playlists together into one place…

GENRE PLAYLISTS – THE 379 LONGLIST

I’ve also compiled some genre playlists, spanning all 379 tunes from my original longlist, only song per artist.  Each playlist is generally 25 to 35 tracks long, and some songs are missing due to Spotify not having them (18 in total).  Genre definitions are completely my own too, should some tunes seem misclassified!  These playlists are alphabetically sorted by artist, not ranked.
